Christina Blum Studio

I was a Social Media Marketing Intern for Christina Blum Studio, a small couture womenswear brand with an emphasis on sustainability.

During this internship, I designed questions that were asked through Instagram stories to increase audience engagement and understand consumer perceptions for marketing practices. This was also used to understand what kind of words consumers have in mind relating to the brand, and was used to begin my keyword research in SEO for Pinterest.

Developing on that initial research and input from consumers regarding their brand perception, I used strategic keywords to design Pinterest board descriptions and captions. I used Tailwind to schedule ~15 posts/week for the Studio's Pinterest account.

I diversified the boards by using a combination of lifestyle photos that aligned with the brand along with the brand's actual garments. This helped the Pinterest algorithm better understand what audience to push my pins towards. I also created seasonal boards (ex. Valentine's Day Outfits) which traditionally perform well on the platform.

In the span of 2 months, I increased impressions 74%, total audience 55%, and engagements 30% on Pinterest. I also integrated Google Analytics with Big Cartel (the brand's online store platform) in order to create a place that could visualize and consolidate analytics from Christina Blum's website.
